Hal graduated from UBC law school in 1986, and became a practicing lawyer in BC in 1987. He has been a full time lawyer since then.

Hal has practised as a partner, sole practitioner for many years, and as an associate. Best described as a “general” field, over the years Hal has done family law, personal injury, insurance, estates, wills and real estate, including insurance, family and estate litigation.

Currently Hal practices primarily in wills, estates, and real estate.
